Derek is an international specialist in education, training and applied research, with particular emphasis on quality and standards.
After many years in posts and Oxford and Cambridge universities, Derek moved to consultancy, working from a London base, this led to managing projects in the UK, Africa, the Balkans, the USA and China, with particular emphasis on team formation and management, project design, development and implementation, and process- and change-management, all within a quality and standards framework.
Eleanor has a strong background in the management and delivery of complex, multi-site education and entrepreneurship projects. Typically, these have involved the management of events, processes and people, including committee set-up and management, time-lining, effective reporting and team formation and management.
Currently, Eleanor is engaged in developing and delivering bespoke Personal and Professional Development Programmes which has been shown to improve the employability, effectiveness and overall performance of international professionals, in the UK, US and China.
Ian has a background in senior education management, industrial training and careers advisory work. He has 20 years’ experience in higher education, both as a senior manager at Edexcel (now Pearson) and as a self- employed consultant.
Ian was a Review Coordinator for the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) from 2009 until 2012. He has led QAA review teams in both public and independent colleges. He has recently become Chair of the Board of Governance of two colleges, in London and Dublin.
Ian offers experience in leadership, management development, training needs analysis, performance review, team building, effective communications, customer service, governance and policy analysis and development.
Veronica has worked in the education sector for many years supporting individuals and teams to improve performance. She champions a holistic approach to institutional development linking financial management with strategic, business and organisational plans, and performance management.
She has wide experience of the education sector – including schools, the full spectrum of the further education sector, and higher education. She is also familiar with the entire range of qualification levels – both in the UK and overseas – from entry to post-graduate level.
She has also been involved in qualification development in the UK and overseas, as chief examiner, moderator, verifier and question writer
Dianne has had a career in education, publishing and management. Her teaching experience has largely been with adults, and included three years teaching at a vocational college in Sierra Leone, as well as nine years teaching English and IT at City of Oxford College in the UK.
Dianne has over ten years’ experience in devising and delivering training courses for the wider business, and developing online and print teaching and learning materials.
